Overview
In the Week 7 assignment, you devised a translational study proposal. Your final assignment is to create a poster in which you include any adjustments provided in your feedback as if you are presenting this at a local or regional conference. You will need to also include at least one APA formatted graph that aligns with your research design that exemplifies the best case scenario for the outcome(s) of your study.
Instructions
For this assignment, you will create an academic poster as if you have completed this study and are now focusing on disseminating your results as if you had actually conducted the experiment. This poster will be created using the Week 9 Assignment Template [PPTX], which is a PowerPoint slide. Remember that posters are intended to be a snapshot of the information discussed in a formal paper. You will need to condense the information you provided in the proposal to fit adequately. On the poster, you must include the following components with any changes required from the feedback you received during Week 7:
Description of the historical and current experimental literature.
Your research problem and question including how your study extends the current literature.
Population and sampling methodology.
Research method and design.
Findings of your study including at least one relevant APA formatted graph.
Ethical considerations of the research.
Limitations and future directions of your research.
Additional Requirements
Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to current edition APA style and formatting guidelines. for citing and referencing tips.
References: At least five scholarly resources. Make sure to include all slides in APA formatting on a separate slide.

In this class, you will complete a Research Study Proposal. The Research Study Proposal is divided into three pieces: Research Study Proposal Part I, due in week 3

In this hypothetical research study proposal, you will investigate a social-psychological issue of your choice. Requirements: Research Study Proposal Part 2
Utilizing the topic selected for the Research Study Proposal Part 1, you are to find scholarly articles with which you will compile a literature review.
You must have at least 6 scholarly articles.Make sure that you have scholarly articles for all variables associated with your topic.
You will need to clearly indicate how the articles align with your proposed research topic. How is your topic new (i.e., address the gaps in the scholarship)?
It is also necessary to indicate how all of the articles work together to help form your research study proposal.
Structural Formatting
The literature review should have its own introduction that clearly indicates what aspects will be covered in the literature review, as well as how the research study proposal will help fill in the gaps in the current scholarship.

The literature review should be at least 4 pages in length.

Purpose: As mentioned before active learning activities are your opportunity to practice and apply the concepts discussed in your reading to class discussions. These action assignments will help you deepen your learning and help you become active, reflective, responsible, and successful learners.
Activity Overview: We learned this week that developmental theories help us to predict how children will behave in the future. Many of these theories take on different perspectives that offer approaches to understanding development. We also learned how modern applications of these theories have been useful in a variety of contexts. For example, behavioral therapies based on classical conditioning have been used to treat phobias and modify behavior. Furthermore, contemporary modifications of Vygotsky’s theory have encouraged teachers to collaborate with their students through reciprocal teaching and incorporate cooperative learning exercises and scaffolding to continually advance their learning.
This week you will practice a modern application of operant conditioning. In this activity you will determine if reinforcement is a useful technique in modifying behavior, as Skinner suggested. PLEASE NOTE: As mentioned in the weekly overview, you may have to get started on this activity earlier in the week, because you will need to track your reading over at least 48 hours. While this week’s activity suggest that you keep track of the number of pages you read during a week, you may modify this task to ensure you are to submit it on time. For example, you can track how many pages you read in 24 hours without reinforcement and then how many you read in 24 hours with a reinforcement. More detailed instructions can be found in the textbook. Overview
For this assessment, you will create a poster presentation such as you might see at a professional conference, to address a public health issue. At professional conferences, you will see poster presentations at which professionals can share with attendees their research or other ideas. Attendees can read the work on the boards and, if they choose, talk with the creators of the posters. It is a great way to share research, tested theories, tested interventions, and so forth in a short amount of time. Posters in this context are meant to present information in a concise visual way. You will create such a poster about a topic in public health and motivation.
On the poster, you’ll present the problem and an idea for increasing people’s motivation toward constructive behaviors concerning the problem. As part of understanding the problem and supporting a solution for increasing motivation, you’ll support ideas in the presentation with theory and research. Finally, you will discuss how the information you provide can be used to shape policies or procedures on a larger scale.

tricks,” as Hans Rosling describes them) that help people make accurate
