TikTok Debunk Assignment Rubric
Find a TikTok/Instagram Reel that contains mis/disinformation about a health claim. You can use YouTube if you don’t have either of those platforms.
You are going to write a 500-word essay that includes a summary of the incorrect information in the video and your own explanation as to why the information in the video is inaccurate by providing the current, accurate research. Your own explanation needs to be supported by current, primary, academic sources.
You need to reference these academic papers in APA on a separate sheet. You will be graded on your APA reference paper formatting.
The assignment is two pages, one page for the essay debunking the false health claim, and another for the APA reference page.
