What kind of data would you use?
How would you collect it?
You do not need to actually collect data, but you do need to discuss what kind of data would be most appropriate for the question you are answering and how you would collect it. This should not be more than two pages.

Introduction: When considering the importance of the foundational education provided at the elementary stage, one must consider how the level of parental involvement within this education plays a role in the student’s achievement. Many studies have portrayed the profound correlation between extensive parental involvement with higher outcomes. Parental involvement can truly range from homework assistance in an environment conducive to learning to being actively involved in school events. Additional methods of parental involvement in the educational process include frequent communication with the child’s teacher as well as providing additional learning opportunities through the use of after-school programs. As elementary institutions seek to provide the basis for a student’s future educational journey, the vital relationship between parental involvement and academic success must be evaluated. Understanding exactly how parental involvement assists with academic achievement will allow the student, parents, and educators evidence-based information which can be utilized to tailor the educational process. This paper aims to examine the multifaceted association of parental involvement within the home to elementary students’ academic performance while specifically exploring the methods of engagement and their correlation to student success.

Find one academic peer reviewed journal article that discusses either cybercrime or cyber security (you cannot use the article in the learning resources). -What is the independent variable? -What is the dependent variable? -What is the research question or hypothesis? -How are the variables conceptualized? -Discuss what you think the importance is of looking at the relationship between the two variables- in other words, what might this research add to the study of cybercrime or cyber security?

Explain the differences between how state and local governments budget and how the federal government budgets. Which system do you think is better and why? Do you think it would be possible for the federal government to adopt the budgeting strategies of the state and local governments or not?
Why or why not?

Part 1: Based on what you learned in the reading (attached as Part 1), pick 2 benefits, a legally required benefit and a discretionary benefit that interest you. Pick an organization (United States Army will be the organization) and talk about how your organization administers them. Then, for the required benefit, conduct some research to learn more about how local, state, or federal laws impact that benefit. For the discretionary benefit, discuss some of the implications of the benefit for the SHRM (such as retention, recruitment, equity, budgeting, etc.).
Please cite specific readings in your answer and describe how these readings relate to your response (theory to practice).
Part 2: For your discussion post this week, 1. include a general response to the required reading (Labled as Part 2.1, 2.2, 2.3). 2. Then use the stakeholder analysis chart (use file attached) to brainstorm key audiences for an issue of your choice. This topic will be **DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)**. Start with potential key groups, then brainstorm relevant values and interests, and then some back and forth. You do not need to complete the middle, just the left column and top row. You can also look over the water example of that exercise (also attached) you like, but you don’t need to come up with as many groups. ****Part 1 and Part 2 are completlely separate. Do not cross refernece the two. Each part should be equal in length***

Select two (2) leadership styles covered in the Week 3 module that approach lead

Select two (2) leadership styles covered in the Week 3 module that approach leadership in different (almost contradictory) ways. Compare and contrast both leadership styles and how they apply (or do not apply) in a public safety organization. Answer the following questions:
Can different leadership styles that appear to be contradictory approaches be used effectively in the same organization. Why or why not?
How do they impact each other?
Which appears to be more effective? Least effective? Why?
Give examples from your own experiences or observations that illustrate the use of these leadership styles.
