Expectations:
The paper must be in APA 7th Edition formatting, 12-point font, Times New Roman, 1” margins, APA headings, and page numbers, and three pages long. Part (2) of your paper, involves expanding on your outline with full paragraphs and complete sentences.
The paper is based on the culmination of all your work this semester. The plan will
describe the environment in which the student plans to work, live, or volunteer.
The plan will identify the student’s perceptions of their current strengths and weaknesses as a leader in
their chosen environment and will identify gaps in leadership strengths and skills.
The plan will establish goals for the improvement of leadership effectiveness and indicate specific steps or
actions to be undertaken.
Finally, the plan will identify how progress will be measured and
how improvements will be made. You are required to use class readings and activities to
inform your Personal Leadership Plan

Assignment
Write 3-4 pages of content in which you address the following:
After selecting a for-profit or not-for-profit organization that is of interest to you, analyze the organization’s vision and mission statements against the criteria for meaningful statements, revising the statements as required.
Keys to the Assignment
The Case must be completed before the SLP.
The key aspects of this assignment that should be covered in your paper include the following:
Using the library or the Internet, choose an organization that is of interest to you. For this purpose, you are required to choose an organization in which you are not currently employed. (Hint: You may want to choose your target organization using a current listing of Fortune 500 companies.)
Locate the organization’s website. Spend time navigating the company website, so that you have a good understanding of what the company does.
Provide the name and website address of your chosen organization.
Locate and write down the organization’s mission and vision statements.
Critique each of the foregoing statements against the criteria included in the Background readings and/or the criteria you developed for the Case assignment. Note: Organizations have a tendency to combine their mission and vision statements; therefore, you may need to decide whether a given statement is a mission statement or a vision statement. Be sure to back up your critiques with research that appropriately supports your analysis.
Rewrite the vision and mission statements in the proper format for vision and mission statements.
In the context of the criteria for “good” vision and mission statements, defend the adjustments/changes you have made to the statements.

Read the book Blink: The Power of Thinking without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell and describe your impression of the book and how it relates to modern law enforcement. Additionally, did you read any information that was illuminating or new to you? Describe your thoughts.

Digital transformation embraces different key technology drivers such as – Artificial Intelligence (AI), Block-chain, Cloud Computing, Data Science, IoT (Internet of Things), Robotic, Machine Learning, Cognitive Technology, Nanotechnology, etc., and this digital transformation strategy is changing the way organizations operate/behave. For example, the way we attract/motivate/retain staffs, the way we work as individual and team for performance, the way to serve our stakeholders (customers / suppliers / investors), the way we compete, cooperate, collaborate and have profound impacts to the way we manage and drive performance effectiveness in our organization today and future sustainably.

Focusing on how the selected organization adopted / adapted – one of the above digital and technology drivers – and changes the way the organization behave and operate for better performance. Each group will select ONE company (No Duplicate) – preferrable public-listed company – Chinese company OR Foreign company – operate in China and/or global markets. The report should be supported by at least 10 relevant research articles (Year 2015 and after). References – need to show in the last page of the PPT – this page does not count on page limit.

Format of case analysis: (Suggestion)
Background of the organization (“the Organization”) and identify and discuss the reasons (why) and the strategic objectives the organization to embrace digital transformation with the selected “Technology driver” of changes.
Explain and discuss focusing on digital transformation what and how “technology drivers” which have been embraced (adopted and adapted), and the key changes in the organization behavior (before and after)
Identity, explain and analyze the current outcomes – including those went well and what went negatively in relation to change of organizational behavior
Provide and justify with recommendations in short, medium, and long-term actions (S.M.A.R.T) plan to manage the impacts/challenges/concerns, to drive and digital transform the “Organization” to perform sustainably today and in the future
