The assignment requires your team to choose what role they would be interested in preparing a presentation on, the judge, the prosecutor, or the defense counsel.
Create a 10–12 slide PowerPoint presentation incorporating the following elements:
The judge is an elected or appointed public official who presides over a court of law and who is authorized to hear, sometimes to decide cases, and to conduct trials.
Identify the judge’s actions in the courtroom and how they apply to the case (minimum 3 slides).
The prosecutor is the decision-making power of prosecutors is based upon the wide range of choices available to them, in the handling of criminal defendants, the scheduling of cases for trial, and the acceptance of negotiated pleas.

Topic – Homicide in United States
First explain what is Homicide. Talk about different type of homicide. for instance – first degree murder, second degree murder, third degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter.
Then move on to Statistics of homicide in the US. Give your own analysis on Homicide. Talk about how we can decrease homicide rates? Talk about which state have the most homicide? which age group/ ethnicity/gender commits the most homicide in the US? what can we do to reduce the rates.
Then talk about 4 past cases related to homicide and how it impacted criminal law.

Michelle needed money to pay her rent. She is behind 3 months in rent and fears being evicted. She decides to rob Capital One Bank. Michelle asks her roommate Cheryl to help her. They agree to split the money 60% Michelle and 40% for Cheryl. This was based on the fact that Cheryl was going to only purchase the items necessary to commit the crime, like the gun and ski mask, and agreed to be the lookout at the bank.
