Select a team to which you currently belong (this could be at work, in the community,
professional/personal networks/organizations, etc). Watch the following two videos on
Tuckman’s Model of Team Development and then keep a journal of this team for four
days in the following areas of assessment:
1. Conflict and how you as well as other team members manage it 2. Team leadership, creativity, and productivity 3. Communication among team members
4. The team’s ability to utilize its diversity

Instructions:
Following the completion of four days of journal entries and your assessment of the
assigned areas of assessment, provide your findings related to each and then based on
those findings conclude what stage of team development the team is at present.
Include a brief statement on what next steps will be needed for the team to advance in
its development.
Requirements:
Provide a minimum of a 500 word response that highlights and summarizes your journal
findings in the assigned four categories of assessment, your drawn conclusion as to
what stage of Tuckman’s Model of Team Development that the team is at present, and
a brief statement of what next steps will be needed for the team to advance in its
development.
