1) Key Assignment – What is it? What is Expected?
“Here’s why I do what I do.” I would ask: Is the person actually engaged in using what they know, or simply having knowledge about it, but not actually using it? (Eric Jensen, 2010)
In this key assignment, you are being asked to “prove” what you have learned by redesigning an activity/lesson that you have experienced that you know in some way(s) did not meet the needs of students. Your revision should reflect new instructional moves informed by what you have learned in class.
We will be using Google Slides to share our work and provide feedback to each other that will enrich all of our thinking. Here is what to expect:
The Key Assignment Google Slides contain a pre-built slide for each of you to post your Key Assignment artifacts (a 2-page paper and a video).
We will be able to interact with your colleague’s Key Assignment content when the Slide Deck is in presentation mode.
In authoring mode, you can offer peer feedback using the Notes section of each slide.
KA Peer Review Assignments – please provide feedback based on the SPARK process shared below. I encourage you to review the work of all your colleagues in your group, but formal feedback is based on the colleagues that you have been assigned.
