3. Assess the causes and outcomes of the Second World War through hegemonic stability theory.
4. Examine the different perspectives of neo-realism and liberal institutionalism in their theorisation of the future of the neoliberal order.
Key elements/criteria for EVALUATION:
– discussion of the CONCEPTS and THEORIES, with reference to debate in the readings.
– empirical EXAMPLES.
– WELL-STRUCTURED TEXT:
* An introduction: Brief overview of the topic, and descriiptions of how the essay will unfold.
* Main body of the paper: based on a structured discussion of the phenomena and related concepts. Please discuss briefly the main tenets of the theory/approach discussed and then historical events with a focus on how they can be described/explained by the theory/approach
*A short conclusion summing up the paper (Hint: this is a good moment to make your argument/point of view more explicit).
