Part of your reading this week focused on ethics in public speaking. I’m going to present you with three scenarios. Take one of these scenarios and discuss why you think it is ethical or unethical and what your response might be:
A. You overhear a student in your public speaking class ask a friend if he can use the speech he gave on drilling for oil in Alaska in his public speaking class last semester. The friend says yes. The next week your classmate gives a speech on drilling for oil in Alaska.
B. A student wants to give a speech on the ways to make money in college. One of the points in the speech is going to be dealing drugs.
C. A student uses an AI generated website to create their entire speech. A few days before delivering the speech the student begins to feel guilty and decides to still use some of the information created by the AI website, but edit other parts of the speech to add their own content. When delivering the presentation the student never mentions or cites the content generated from the AI website

These speeches are ranked as the top 100 speeches in America.
You are to listen to one of the speeches and write a one-page response. Included in that response should be answers to the main point of the speech, the overall vocal qualities of the speaker and how the speech impacted you (or had a lack of impact upon you). The response should be typed and double-spaced. Please note that I do not want a summary of the speech.
