Current social scientific data indicates that there is a significant decline in fertility and birthrates in the US. Discuss why we may be seeing a decrease in fertility rates. What are the reasons that individuals may choose to not have children? What are the advantages  and disadvantages, for individuals/families and society, of a declining fertility rate?
