Students will be expected
to complete a two-page summary of one of the assigned readings for the corresponding
unit. The two-page summary will briefly describe the main theme(s) from the reading and will also
identify key insights based upon the student’s chosen area of study (ie. If you are a social service worker
student you will describe how this information is relevant to social work practice and how it might be
applied in a practice setting, ). It is suggested that two sub-headings be
included in this submission:
1) Key Themes and Ideas from the Article/Reading, and
2) Key Insights to Future Professional Practice.
