You will be writing a research paper consisting of a topic from the text. You may choose any topic in the historical era covered in your book. You are to have at least (3) sources, one of which must be the text, one a databased historical journal, and one from a GOVernment historical site.
You must have title page, three-page essay (no less, and no more than 3 1/2), and reference page. This totals to 5 pages as they will be numbered.
You must use topic headers (not your name) and page numbers.
You must double-space the entire paper.
Your paper must be grammatically correct.
You should avoid quoting entirely. Quotes are not indicative of your understanding of the material. If needed to make a point, use small snippets=less than 10% of your entire word count. This means, 300 words, no more than 30 words of quotes, 600 words=60 words, 900 words=90 words. You will receive a deduction if you go over 10%. However, if at all possible, do not use quotes. Paraphrase in your own words and CITE.
