Students will choose one of four articles and write a critique of it. This assignment will give students experience in assessing evidence and a chance to offer opinion and analysis. A good analysis should focus on the main arguments and central thesis of the article, identify research methodologies the author uses, offer a critique of the author’s arguments, and highlight its strengths and weaknesses. It should also be clear on whether or not you enjoyed the article along with details on any new knowledge you gained. See the course site for assignment details and grading rubric. Paper is to be 1000-1250 words, 4-5 pages double spaced, 12-point font. Use the APA citation style.
