This paper will consist of selecting an appropriate topic from the course and presenting current and relevant research related to this topic. This must be an original paper for this class. You may not re-use papers from other classes. The research may include many psychological and sociological facets related to your topic, as well as current controversies about the topic that are being currently researched. Your references Must come from professional, peer-reviewed research in the area of psychopharmacology. Examples of acceptable references include the Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Biological Psychiatry, Therapeutic Advancements in Psychopharmacology, Health Psychology, just to name a few. The length of the research paper must be a minimum of 8 pages, but no more than 10 pages (not including a cover sheet, abstract, and reference
page).
You should have a minimum of 8 references, but more is better. All papers will be written in
correct APA format so the pages should be double spaced between lines using a 12-point font (Times
New Roman or Courier New). There should be a cover page, abstract page, and a reference page. Your
paper will be posted in the appropriate Dropbox in Brightspace in Word format. Each posted paper will
be checked for plagiarism.
