This paper is based on an analysis of a political advertisement (from the last 10 or so years) or an iconic photograph. The goal of this project is to critically explore how mediated images are used to tell stories. Students are expected to do background/contextual research on the ad or image they use for this paper.
Students will do a visual analysis as part of their evaluation of larger socio-cultural and political themes.
Each paper should include at least 2 credible/academic sources
Format: 450-550 words (approx 2 pages), double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman Font, or similar. Please cite all sources in-text and as a reference/works cited page. Please use a standard writing style (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) consistently and correctly.
