In this assignment, you will examine the psychology of children of incarcerated parents and integrate research about that topic to attempt to draw some overall conclusion. When examining the research topic, you will be synthesizing research and doing a lot of deep thinking, but the goal of this assignment is breadth rather than a focus on one set of individual data.
A literature review involves reviewing, critiquing, and synthesizing a combination of at least 8 empirical, peer reviewed journal articles. The bulk of your references should include quantitative, not qualitative, research.
