For this assignment, the student will identify the characteristics that create a culture of safety in health care. The student will also identify common tools and methods used in the quality improvement process as well as the new nurse’s role in quality improvement. Finally, the student will reflect on lessons learned from the IHI Open School modules and provide an evaluation of the IHI Open School content and make suggestions for improvement. The paper must be written following current APA formatting guidelines and include a title page, appropriate use of headings, and a reference list. The reference list should contain at a minimum two articles related to a culture of safety and reference the IHI Open School. In addition to the paper, the student will upload all completion certificated from the IHI Open School modules.
