Your summary should answer the following questions: a. What issue or problem does the research purport to address? b. Who were the researchers, and what are their educational or workplace affiliations? c. If terms are used in the article that are part of the operational definitions, list and explain the researchers’ use of those terms. d. What type of research did you read (experimentation, correlational, case study)? e. How was the study/research conducted (in a lab, in the field)? How was the data obtained (direct observation, survey, questionnaires, experimentation)? f. What were the researchers’ findings and/or conclusions? g. Did the researchers note any problems they encountered during the research? Were there any limitations or concerns noted in the article? h. If included, what did the researcher‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍s recommend their results to be used to do or used to improve in “real life”? 4. The final section of your paper should be a critical analysis of the research. This is where you should note any questions the research raised for you as a reader.
