Due 17 November 2023
Title: RES500-Critical Thinking
Assignment Type: Final research
Firstly, In Assignment 1, I chose a research topic, created research questions, and drafted answers to those questions. (Attached for reference)
Secondly, In Assignment 2, I conducted a Literature Review where I explored and reviewed 15 previous research papers related to my current semester’s research topic. Out of these, at least 5 papers were from the last 5 years. The purpose was to understand the existing research landscape, identify gaps, and avoid duplicating well-known results. (Attached for reference)
In Assignment 3, I was tasked with crafting a questionnaire incorporating various question types aligned with the principles covered in the data collection techniques and measurement questions and instruments course. I developed a distinctive questionnaire encompassing all studied question types, including Dichotomous (Yes/No), Multichotomous (MCQ), Checklist, Ranking & Rating Scale, as well as Open-ended questions. The questionnaire comprised a minimum of 25 questions, specifying the question type, ensuring a logical sequence, and adhering to the ideal format and basic guidelines. (Attached for reference)
In This Assessment 4: This is my final assignment for which a sample format is provided in the blackboard (Week 10 course materials) (already included in this document). (Attached for reference) I must submit the proposal as per the given sample format. Adherence to the format is necessary.
This final research proposal must contain all the stages and processes involved in a typical research proposal.
I must provide a detailed data collection plan (assumed), sampling design (assumed) as well as a proposed data analysis plan.
Improvisation from my end will earn extra points.
This is the most important assignment in this course.
Rules:
Support your submission with course material concepts, principles, and theories from the textbook along with few scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles.
Use The University academic writing standards and APA style guidelines, citing references as appropriate.
Submit your findings in a 3–4-page document, excluding the title page, abstract and required reference page, which are never a part of the minimum content requirements, in the Assignment Dropbox.
It is strongly encouraged that you submit all assignments to the Turnitin Originality Check (available under Information folder on your Blackboard) prior to submitting them to your instructor for grading. If you are unsure how to submit an assignment to the Originality Check tool, review the Turnitin Originality Check – Student Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Leadership Writing Assignment – Instruction:
Topic: Analysis on Warren Buffett
Please think of your favorite leader (any leader, which may include leaders from the movies, for-profit and non for profit, politics, public life, sports, science, even comic figures, etc.) and analyze his or her leadership using three different theories out of the theories covered in class. find out what is happening and identify the persons’ leadership, while others may not be a good fit (in that situation, or for the specific leader or manager, or for the observer). The format of the report is a project report, not an academic paper. That means that the emphasis should be on application of knowledge and material and there should be a clear message and takeaways. Imagine your are writing a report for your boss at work and with the intent of informing him or her about how to improve a persons’ leadership skills.
Please use three of the theories covered in class, that is on the lecture slides or in the additional reading assignments. Please use three different leadership theories. Please use those three leadership theories that you feel describe best, what makes your favorite leader a truly great leader. Provide the reader with a headline or cover page and a short description who the leader is. Afterwards, you should structure your essay based on these sections:
Theory 1:
Theory 2:
Theory 3:
Choose three of the theories below. Three of these must be used
Leadership Traits
Leadership Behavior
Contingency Theories
LMX Theory
Full Range Theory: Transformational Leadership
Authentic Leadership
Servant Leadership
Ethical Leadership
Shared Leadership
Academic references: While this is not a primarily academic paper, we also recommend for you to reference academic sources and articles, to help build credibility and evidence your reporting. While this is primarily a project report it is supposed to be academically inspired.
Turnitin: please no Ai
Formatting: All Assignments need to be formatted in Times New Roman font size 12; 1.5 or double-spaced; And contain structural elements, such as: Headlines, sections and subsections; Break up content in paragraphs. Your goal should be to produce a high-quality project report, as if it were for your supervisor at work. If your report is not formatted properly, the boss may place it back on your desk, and you may need to re-submit it next semester. This is not an academic paper but “just” a project report style. With that said, be reminded that “a page is a page and not a paragraph” and “a sentence is a sentence and not a paragraph”. A paragraph should contain multiple sentences but not span across entire pages and more.
4-5 pages maximum

Write a research summary for each article in APA format (two summaries total). Your submissions should be in essay form and APA format and should mirror the student summary example. You can submit each summary separately or in a combined document. If separate, it will look like your second submission erases the first, but I can see both. If you submit one document, please make sure each summary has its own cover and reference page.
Your summaries should thoroughly answer all of the following questions:In at least 2 sentences, briefly describe the purpose of the study. What did the author(s) research, and why? What was the goal of the research? Why is the topic important to study?
In at least 3 sentences, describe how the author(s) went about conducting their research. Who makes up the sample (e.g., individuals, cities, etc.)? What was the sample size (e.g., people, cases, etc.)? What type of research did the author(s) conduct (e.g., interviews, surveys, analysis of existing case records, program evaluation, etc.)?
In at least 5 sentences, summarize the main findings of the study.
In at least 3 sentences, describe what the findings mean for policy. For example, do the findings suggest that existing laws or policies should be changed, and how, or what action should agencies or organizations take to improve or alleviate the problem?
Use the resources below to navigate the UNLV Libraries database to find your scholarly research articles, write your research summaries and understand how to properly use in-text citations, and develop a reference page.
Be sure to answer all questions found in the research summaries template.
Your final paper should be in an APA essay format.
All questions should be a written response in your own words.
Any use of direct quotes must include “quote” followed by (Author, Publication Date, page number). The article found that “students often had difficulty using APA style” (Jones, 2022, p. 23).
Do not overuse direct quotes!
