Continuing with the public policy you selected in the Week 3 assignment, Historical Perspective, you will now describe and expand upon the influence, motives, and impacts of your chosen policy and its parameters. Write a 4-5 page paper in which you:
Write a one-page summary of the policy, including the purpose, the context of the problem, and any recommendations or suggestions from the policy to address the problem. (Use your summary skills to keep this to one page.)
Identify all the stakeholders, official and unofficial, along with any interest groups involved with your policy.
Describe the role and function of each of the stakeholders you identified.
Of the list of stakeholders you identified, pick two and describe the political influence of each stakeholder, explaining motives, conflicts, interrelationships, and impacts on the policy.
Include at least four peer-reviewed references (no more than five years old) from material outside the textbook. Note: Appropriate peer-reviewed references include scholarly articles and governmental websites. Wikipedia, other wikis, and any other websites ending in anything other than “.gov” do not qualify as peer-reviewed. Use Basic Search: Strayer University Online Library to identify references.
As you develop your paper, you may want to reference Communicating Uncertainty In Policy Analysis [PDF] for a summary of policy analysis principles.
This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). The library is your home for SWS assistance, including citations and formatting. Please refer to the Library site for all support. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.

Almost daily there are stories in the news about new regulations and the process by which these regulations are enacted. Keep in mind that regulations are primary vehicles by which agencies implement specific laws and general agency objectives. What is the role of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA)? As you read, consider where the authority to issue regulations originates. OIRA’s role in the federal rulemaking process has been highly controversial in presidential administrations.
__________
Instructions
Focusing on the regulatory process, research the Internet and watch a local or national news program. Consider any story you find from this week that pertains to the regulatory process.
Post a 300- to 350-word response in which you address the following questions:
What did you learn about the regulatory process from this week’s readings?
What is OIRA and why is it both controversial and important?
What are the differences between system 1 and system 2 thinking and in what decision-making situations may one be more appropriate?
How can regulatory agencies address tendencies toward human error?
What is learned from the “plate, not pyramid” example?
Include appropriate references to the assigned readings to support your statements.
Apply correct APA citations and format to your response.

Remember it is IRELAND you are referring to NOT the UK.
If any regulatory governance is mentioned in the UK I will be asking for the paper to be redone again FULLY
If mentions an example of an accountability challenge in Ireland do go into detail but I do not want to spot long paragraphs, as this will also lead to the paper having to be redone.
I will outline in the files a brief overview of the topic of regulatory governance to give the writer context as to what it is before beginning the essay and a useful document pertinent to the area of regulatory governance (for this look up on google REGULATORY GOVERNANCE: IMPROVING THE INSTITUTIONAL BASIS FOR SECTORAL REGULATORS OF INFRASTRUCTURE PUBLIC SERVICES — IRELAND’S EXPERIENCES TOM FERRIS) on OECD.ORG website.
This, however, is NOT to be cited throughout the whole essay and can only be used once or twice.
English in the essay must be EXCEPTIONAL, I am requesting a professional essay after all.
Footnotes and bibliography are required and shall be in the form of the OCSOLA method, which I am also providing a file on below so you can go off that. If this is not completed properly I shall also expect the paper to be edited to the correct format.
KEEP REFERING TO THE QUESTION. AND BACK UP YOUR ANSWER.
