Im writing a 7000-word essay on the role of pharmaceutical companies (specifically Purdue Pharma) within the opioid epidemic. I have written the introduction, literature review, analysis, and experimentation parts but I need someone to go over everything and add anything else that should be included based on my outline instructions.

Define public policy and choose one public policy issue, either from the US Department of State websiteor identified on your own, that directly or indirectly relates to a concern important in your life today. For example, how might immigration policy impact the economy?
Be sure to look at all sides of the issue and share at least one point from each perspective of the political spectrum; share a point to consider from the left (Democrat), right (Republican.) Include other viewpoints such as the Libertarian’s perspective, if you would like to do so.
Then, state your position and why. Be sure to provide links to support your statements, using the most objective news sources you can find or at least sources with competing views or biases.
Reflect on what you learned from this exercise and how it might benefit you in the future.

1. Elections for the European Parliament 2019;
2. Brexit and its current implications for UK, EU and worldwide;
3. The US presidential elections in 2020.
4. UK’s snap parliamentary elections 2019 – party platforms and general issues.
5. The Pandemic of 2020 – what are the political implications? Are political parties acting right?
The students will then be expected to work out a research proposal clearly stating (1) the reasons for the choice of research question, (2) the preferred methodology of inquiry and (3) the expected added value of pursuing the issue.

I would prefer if you choose a parliamentary election.
Here are the things that you should touch upon in your presentation:
1. The type of election, the state, date. General atmosphere – conflict, post-conflict, peaceful. etc.
2. A description of the electoral system used in the election: type of system, formula, districts magnitude, etc.
3. The type of election administration used in that particular election and in that state – model of the EMB, composition of the polling station teams.
4. A short analysis of the results of the election with regards to the political effects of that particular electoral system.
5. Conclusion on the fairness of the election.

Case Study A case study is “a process or record of research in which detailed consideration is given to the development of a particular person, group, or situation over a period of time.” Each student will sign up for a topic to research a particular case. The topics will be provided by me and you are then free to choose a case you would like to study in depth. To complete this assignment, you must do outside of course research. Once your research is complete, you must write a report of your findings. You are free to select a specific case within each of the topics. For example, if you are presenting on democracy, you can choose to study democracy cases outside the United States, or compare the US experience with another country’s.
