This my story for the guideline:
1. Guidelines U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) Mammogram Guidelines: https://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf/recommendation/breast-cancer- screening American Cancer Society (ACS) Mammogram Guidelines: https://www.cancer.org/cancer/breast-cancer/screening-tests-and-early- detection/american-cancer-society-recommendations-for-the-early-detection-of-breast- cancer.html 2. For my scenario I will use 49-year-old Mara as the example in this case. She is visiting the clinic for her yearly physical. has no history of breast cancer in the family. As Mara’s advance practice nurse, I have to determine whether to advise her to begin mammography screening for breast cancer because she has not had one yet. She is seeking direction because she has received conflicting opinions regarding when to start screening. To make this decision, I will use two guidelines: the American Cancer Society (ACS) and one from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). For women between the ages of 50 and 74, the USPSTF advises beginning biennial screening mammography; however, starting earlier should be decided upon individually depending on patient preference and risk factors. The American Cancer Society, on the other hand, recommends that women between the ages of 45 – 54 get annual mammograms, switching to biannual screening at 55, or continuing annual screenings if they so choose. Both recommendations place a strong emphasis on patient-specific characteristics, but they differ in how often and at what age to start screening. Given Mara’s lack of significant risk factors and her reluctance to begin screening at a younger age, I would probably go with the USPSTF recommendation. Her low-risk profile seems to be better suited to its biennial strategy, which strikes a compromise between the advantages of screening and reducing needless treatments. I would be willing to follow the ACS advice, though, if Mara indicated that she would prefer more frequent monitoring or if she was concerned about breast cancer.1. I have attached the rubric and directions. The paper should be short and sweet and based off of my score on two assessments. For part 1 of the assessment titled Perception of what makes a good leader, I scored a 56 which can be interpreted as me mixing up the difference between management and leadership. Part 2 of the assessment is titled Perception of your own ability to lead in which I scored a 55 which can be interpreted as me having a moderate perceived leadership ability. Now that you know my assessment scores, you will need to write a one page essay answering the questions from the rubric and directions. Keep it simple. You must use a reference from the book also. I screenshot the book pages so you can just pull together what you need from the screen shots. It has to be in APA and the book being referenced is called The new leadership challenge: creating the future of nursing 5th edition. Authors are Grossman, S and Valiga, T (2017).
To answer one of the questions: I am not confident in being a leader. I would rather not be in a leadership position because I feel like it would stress me out and I don’t like being under pressure. I work well within a team but have no desire to lead a team.

For this assignment, consider how factors that may have occurred from war participation influence U.S. veterans’ reintegration. Select 3 factors that influence veteran reintegration and create a PowerPoint presentation that discusses how the culturally sensitive nurse can meet discharged veterans’ unique cultural needs as they transition from military life to civilians. Include in your PowerPoint presentation slides that address diverse resources the culturally aware nurse can provide to improve reintegration.
Your presentation should be at least 20 slides (including title, objectives, and references slides) with detailed notes for each slide. Audio recording is required. Be sure to answer all the questions completely. Use clear headings that allow your professor to know which bullet you are addressing on the slides in your presentation. Support your content with citations throughout your presentation. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the presentation. Include a slide for your references at the end.
