This IP builds upon your work in Units 1, 2, and 3.
You will continue your industry research by evaluating long-term liabilities and equity using industry examples. Using the financial statements (located in Appendix A: American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., 2020 Annual Report of the required textbook: Financial Accounting), review and compare the liabilities and equity of each company. Consider the following questions:
What are the significant liabilities of each company? Are they current or long-term?
What types of financing does each company rely on?
What is the equity structure of each company?
Deliverable Requirements: Your Long-Term Liabilities and Equity section should have at least 5 pages (the title and reference pages are not counted in these 5 pages) as well as follow the requirements below for using the APA style.
Address the questions above, and consider their implications to American Eagle Outfitters, Inc.
Do not forget to review the notes to the financial statements for additional information about the company’s liabilities and equity structure.
Submitting your assignment in APA format means that you will need the following at a minimum:

In this last assignment, you will examine how politics and power influence an organization and its culture.
In business, power, and politics greatly influence an organization’s culture and may hinder organizational productivity. As you continue to explore ways to increase productivity in your department, you observed how power and politics influence the corporate culture and the need to address the overall challenges within the organization. Based on your research, you will develop a proposal for your manager on how politics and power can influence the organization’s culture positively.

1. The national discussion concerning decision making for incompetent patients began with the 1976 case of Karen Ann Quinlan. Because she had been left in a persistent vegetative state after two periods of anoxia, her parents sought court authorization to remove her from a ventilator. The New Jersey Supreme Court, in a landmark, unanimous decision, authorized the removal on the basis of Quinlan’s constitutional right of privacy, which the court concluded would be lost unless her parents were given authority to exercise it on her behalf. In the 15 years since Quinlan, courts in almost 20 states have reviewed disputes regarding treatment for incompetent patients. Courts in all these states have recognized the general right of competent people to refuse treatment, and in all but two states have also ultimately found that the U.S. Constitution, state constitution, or common law permits a surrogate to make treatment decisions on behalf of an incompetent person (Annas, 1990).
2. The case of Nancy Cruzan is essentially identical to that of Karen Ann Quinlan, with one exception: Nancy Cruzan, a young woman in a persistent vegetative state as a result of a 1983 automobile accident, requires only tube feeding (rather than a ventilator and tube feeding) to continue to survive. Her parents firmly believe she would not want to have tube feeding continued under such circumstances, in part on the basis of her own statement that she would not want to continue to live if she could not be “at least halfway normal.” For this reason, a trial judge authorized her parents to have their daughter’s tube feeding discontinued (Annas, 1990).
