It might be a good idea to go into the next assignment (electronic resume) and look at the sample resume link. Then you can visualize how all of this information will be used in the major assignment.

Latest Projects
Marketing Plan and Website for John Hopkins Medical Center
We recently completed a major marketing plan for John Hopkins. This involved creating an interactive website that allows patients to set up a virtual appointment with a health professional to discuss any health related problem. This has resulted in a 50 percent increase in appointments at the center.
Marketing Plan and Website for the Town of Miami Beach
We worked on this project in 2017 and completed it in 2018. The purpose of the website was to inform the public about the changes the city was making to deal with the problem of rising sea levels. The slogan we came up with was very instrumental in getting the message out to the public regarding the dangers of street flooding. The interactive site gave real time information on the construction projects related to rising the streets.
Marketing Plan and Website for the Red Cross
We completed this project in 2016 after one year of researching different ways to increase the visibility of this organization online and on social media. One section of the site was devoted to live updates of places in the world where the Red Cross was actively engaged in helping others. The easy to use donations link resulted in raising an average of 12,000 per month.

I will provide a template and the recommendation report curated for it.

Response Requirements
• Each essay question requires a MINIMUM of 2-3 well developed paragraphs (each paragraph must be at
least 10-12 sentences each). Not meeting this requirement will result in a loss of points.
• Some prompts contain MULTIPLE items to address. Be sure to address all items.
• Avoid summary in your answer. I already know the content of the literature. I need to know your own
analysis.
• USE THE TEXTS! It may be helpful to print them or have them open in another window to easily
access while taking the quiz. Textual evidence should be provided in all essay responses and most
importantly, should include an in-text MLA-formatted citations. Lack of in-text citations indicate
plagiarism. You must properly quote or cite. Failing to do this will result in a significant loss of points.
• You MUST use three pieces of textual evidence in EACH response. Be sure to use proper quotation
marks and in-text parenthetical citations. I do not require you to include a works cited page.
• Do NOT use internet sources or work with someone else in the class. Your assignment submission will
be run through Turnitin.com, which is a plagiarism software. Turnitin will cross check your papers
against anything posted on the web and against all other submissions in the class. Turnitin will then
notify me of any similarities. ANY PLAGIARISM WILL RESULT IN A 0/F ON THE QUIZ without
an opportunity for resubmission.
• As the discussion forum responses are related to the quiz writing prompts, feel free to utilize some of
your ideas that you posted in the discussion forums. However, you should not simply copy/paste your
discussion response answers into your quiz essay submission document.
• Remember to write about literature in the present tense. Literature “never ends” so you should check all
your verbs to make sure they are consistently in the present tense.
• Refrain from using any second person “you” or first person “I” in your responses. Even though you are
writing about your interpretation of the literature, generally you keep yourself out of literary analysis. If
you need to refer to interaction with the text, refer to third person “readers” instead.
• If grammar, syntax, diction, and/or punctuation errors significantly interrupt your writing, significant
points will be deducted. The English Literature course standards do not cover grammar and writing.
These should have been mastered in previous English courses. If you need a review of writing standards,
consider signing up for tutoring through our Student Success Center.
• Please follow directions for downloading, completing, and submitting the quiz. If you deviate from the
specific instructions, points will be deducted. This includes completing your essays on the Word
document I provide in Canvas.
