In this Ted Talk, Amishi Jha discusses “how we pay attention.” Paying attention is the process by which our brain decides what we determine is important from the constant stream of information it receives. Stress (an external distraction) and mind wandering (an internal distraction) diminish our attention’s power, but some simple techniques can boost it. Amishi Jha states, “Pay attention to your attention.”
Discuss
After watching the video, discuss at least two important findings that you learned. The research is astounding on the power of of mindfulness. Do you currently practice mindfulness? If so, please share some mindfulness practices to with your classmates. If not, why are you not practicing mindfulness, and will you soon begin?

Prompt:
Amis and Greenwood (2021) described how organizational transformation might be different in a post-pandemic world. The authors argued that, “what is different now, however, is the broader societal shift in questioning of whose interests should matter and the consequences of that for enacting organisational change” (p. 582). Reflect on what the authors meant by this statement.

Overview:
In the previous module, you identified OFIs for your organization (Wounded Warrior Project) and explained why addressing those OFIs is critical for their success. Addressing these OFIs would create positive benefits for WWP. WWP would need to perform some actions to get to that desired future state, assuming that they would not get there by chance. Furthermore, that desired future state would include outputs and outcomes.
For each of the OFIs you identified in the last module, describe outputs and outcomes you would expect from addressing the OFI.
For example, under 2.1 Strategic Planning, you might have identified an OFI that your organization does not have a process for identifying and stimulating innovation. It is critical to have a process for identifying and stimulating innovation because the organization is falling behind competitors as its products and services are not keeping up with customer needs. The ideal future state is an innovation sub-process built into the strategic planning process. The outputs of an innovation sub-process might be new products, services, or better ways of doing business.
For this activity, reuse the document that was turned in in the previous module (see attached titled “WWP OFIs”). After each of your OFI paragraphs, add a paragraph that describes the outputs and outcomes you would expect from addressing the OFI. You may find it useful to separate each Baldrige section under a separate heading for that section. Write a new introduction and conclusion for your document.
Requirements:
– After each of your OFI paragraphs, describe the expected outputs and outcomes for addressing the OFI.
– Write a brief introductory paragraph describing the purpose of the exercise (to add outputs and outcomes to your previous document).
– Write a brief concluding paragraph describing how these actions would affect the overall maturity of the organization.
– Include an updated cover page.
– No citations or reference page is necessary (unless you use a source outside of the Baldrige Excellence Builder).

The Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) is an organizational position that is gaining recognition within many organizations. The CTO is a relatively new type of leadership role that will be explored in this paper.
In your paper:
Define the role and function of the Chief Transformation Officer.
Explain how a CTO can help an organization with change initiatives.
Explain what some of the disadvantages or limitations of the CTO position are.
Describe how an organization’s utilization of a CTO is different than the “Changing from the Middle” approach (mentioned in Chapter 12 of the course textbook).
Your paper should be three to four pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages). Your paper must be formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing Center, and it must include in-text citations and references for at least two scholarly sources from the University of Arizona Global Campus Library, in addition to the course text.
Must use this source: Palmer, I., Dunford, R., & Buchanan, D. (2022). Managing organizational change: A multiple perspectives approach (4th ed.). McGraw-Hill Education.

This assignment is a reflection on a “coaching with compassion” session that I had with another student. The session was based on My Personal Vision (see attached). The session was designed to help me create a plan to achieve my hopes, dreams, and aspirations: my “ideal self.”
Instructions:
As the one being coached, take notes during your session with your coach. When the session is over, compose a 1,200 word current APA style paper on your experience. Describe what occurred during the session, what class concepts were used, your mood at the beginning, during, and after the session, and finally, what, if anything you expect will be the outcome of the session.
Details of the Session:
After introductions, my coach engaged in a series of well-thought-out questions designed to get me to open up about my dreams, ambitions, priorities, and motivators. The class concepts that were identified in the session were; Renewal, the Physiology of Emotional Intelligence, Intentional Change Theory, Ideal Self, Coaching with Compassion, and Mindfulness. My mood started off as a little guarded but I quickly became more comfortable opening up. In the end, I felt happy and confident.
