1) Find a relatively brief sequence from a film noir that contains unusual or interesting cinematography, lighting or other elements of mise-en-scène, editing, and/or use of sound. It should have about 4 to 10 shots and be no more than 2 to 3 minutes long. (Point out the timeline， for example: from the film you picked 2:30-4:30)
2) Also, from the clip you chose, extract 4 to 6 stills/frames that illustrate important aspects of the clip.
Note that the subsequent assignment will ask you to break down the sequence into shots and list the framing, camera angles, camera movements, shot types, shot duration, any editing transitions or important aspects of mise-en-scène that occur in the sequence.
