In class this semester we have analyzed and discussed numerous issues related to society and the sciences that study and attempt to explain it. In almost all discussions we have related the issue at hand to a larger issue and its consequences. We have looked at the quality of education, government controls and freedom, the ethical responsibilities of businesses and their workers to name a few. It is upon these larger issues and your ability to analyze them that your final essay is based.
Assignment: Choose one or two issues from the book and tie them directly to a current online newspaper article (Make sure the article is not older then 3 months). Try searching an issue through an online news source such as cnn.com or the newyorktimes.com. Copy and paste the article and also provide the direct weblink in your paper. Then briefly discuss how the issue in the book relates to the current article. Be sure to specify an exact issue.
