I’m attaching a sample of a bill a student completed for the Research Project. The student did a particularly good job both in terms of style and content. You can feel free to emulate the style (but not the content!). Please take note of how she separated the body and language of the bill from the rationale and justification section. This is what you should strive to do as well.
Remember, the bill itself tells us WHAT you want to accomplish. The Rationale and Justification section tells us WHY. The latter will include any data and supporting documentation. The former should include the facts and structure. Under the Library Resources tab, there is comprehensive information related to the research and writing of the bill.
