Choose two characters and explain the symbolism of each character.
Teacher is looking for:
Paper must be 600-1000 words and single spaced.
Introduction paragraph – Start with the background of Pilgrim’s Progress and slowly work towards the 2 characters you’re going to talk about. Be sure to end the paragraph with thesis statement.
Entire paper must be written in third person. No “I, Me, You” in paper.
Body paragraphs – you must have at least 2 paragraphs. If so, you will need to fully cover each character in 1 paragraph each. You can also split it up into as many paragraphs as you like but is choosing 2 paragraphs each paragraph MUST be about ONE character. Preferably use three (but again not required).
Conclusion Paragraph – remember to restate thesis in different words.
If you quote from the book – only put the page number in parenthesis at the end of the quote.
Make sure to use allegory:
Example’s teacher used
“Faithful” should be referred back to a faithful Christian.
“Evangelist” should be referred back to a good Preacher.
