Write a critical review of all the prescribed readings as per the syllabus weekly schedule covered until
theme three (3). Your written response should reflect your critical approach and engagement with the readings, i.e. book chapters, and articles which we have covered and discussed until now.
Word Limit: 500–600 words
Instructions and Specific Rubrics:
You can follow the word limit for your responses. If you happen to write more than, I will accept a 50 words margin for extra response, but not more than that.
I am keenly interested to see how you critically engage with the prescribed readings we have covered so far, and articulate your review arguments.
The chance of a better grade depends on your ability to synthesize your critical review of the readings and classroom discussions. Moreover, if you can reflect an exceptional understanding over and above these aspects, then you will stand a chance for a higher percentage grade.
For students who have accommodation or have a justified medical excuse (as per prior communication and discretion of instructor) can have an arrangement for their submission. For this, you need to reach out to the instructor specifically.
If I find responses of students similar or copied from each other or from any other source, concerned students will get zero grades and will face disciplinary action as per NUQ policy on academic integrity and plagiarism.
I might also randomly pick students during the reflections session and ask questions based on what they have written for their critical review responses. Failing to defend your responses satisfactorily might impact your grades. I will consider this as a non-serious engagement with coursework and your assignment.
Kindly DO NOT use ChatGPT, Open AI or any AI supported programs for generating your assignment responses. I do not use any such programs for this course and will not accept any violation of this policy. If I find responses that give an impression of use of AI, I will penalize your assignment with a failure grade.
The submission deadline for this assignment will be on 21st February midnight via Canvas file upload option.
Late submission (after Canvas deadline) will have no possibility of getting a better or higher percentage grade. Moreover, you will lose 5% per day of delays from the percentage grade of this assessment.
