the name of the book is “flannery O’Conner A Good Man is Hard to Find. I have it to Amazon kindle let me know if you need access to that . Essay #1
Now that you have read “A Good Man Is Hard to Find,” write a 1000-word informal essay in which you discuss the specific reasons why you enjoyed the author’s story. Your essay will be informal so that you will be using the first-person point of view (the I pronoun). However, never use the “you” pronoun or any of its forms in either an informal or formal essay.
Your essay should be organized into at least five paragraphs. Your first paragraph should be an introduction to your essay; the last paragraph should be a conclusion to your essay. Therefore, you should have at least three body paragraphs in which you present evidence from the story that supports the reasons why you enjoyed the story. Most of your evidence will be in the form of paraphrasing, for example, incidents that occur or descriptions of characters or dialogue. You do not have to use any in-text citations for paraphrases. However, you must include in your essay a minimum of three quotes from the story. You will need an in-text citation after each quote. (Refer to page 54 in the MLA Handbook for the correct format; you will only need the page number, not the author’s name since you are writing about a specific author’s story.) The video may help you visualize in-text citations even clearer.

Page 35 (the example of the Edgar Allan Poe work) provides a better example of what you need to include in your work cited page. Remember that you are using a short story that appears in an anthology so page 35 shows you how to include all of this information. The graphic may help you visualize the correct format for a work-cited page even clearer. I have also included a video on the work-cited page.
