Students will review one IEP of a preschool student to identify the degree to which the IEP aligns to both IDEA requirements and best practice. The student will write a four-page paper that includes:
-The child’s present level of functioning (including strengths and needs);
-data documentation;
-student’s goals;
-accommodation and modifications and;
-overall experience reviewing the IEP.
For each section above, the student will provide a summary of that section and insights into how the IEP aligns with IDEA requirements and best practices.
