Sample Research Paper Topics:
SOURCES: Research Paper topic selection due (send via email or written on paper with student name to the professor). Your topic must yield 10 sources for your research paper, with a mix of web or print news articles, interviews, news clips, video/TED Talk, books and/or academic journal articles.
DIRECTIONS: Choose one of the following topics or arguments. Or find a compelling one
that will yield a clear argument thesis and sources of support for both sides of the
argument. Your topic must connect with media, culture, or social justice. Try to come up
with something that is in the realm of society, social impact, and culture – a problem and an
intriguing argument that you are proving. Your argument can also present solving a problem for
the Black community or society as a whole.
