For this assignment, you have to write three different texts about the following project: Panama Canal, Panama A 21st-century historian writing about the project. You are the historian, you write with the knowledge of today (Third person) A person who lived when the project was made/was new. Be clear about who your eyewitness is, what they can know, and what language they would possibly use Show, don’t tell (First person) An other-than-human organism (of your choice, be specific). Be specific about the organism you pick. It cannot be an abstract ‘bird’. Be realistic: Pick an organism that lives in the region. Imagine your organism has an awareness of its environment and masters the English language. Write it in first person. Use footnotes, and add a bibliography (in Chicago Manual of Style format).
