Aim of the assignment:
Research proposal assignments require you to review the literature on a particular topic and from this, design a study using appropriate methods.
The research proposal allows you to acquire knowledge through the process of reviewing literature and develop research skills by selecting the appropriate design and methodology.
In relation to the structure and layout of a research proposal, you are required to present the following sections in appropriate APA format as: Introduction, Methods, Proposed analysis, and Evaluation.
Outlined below are the different expectations for each section, including a handy checklist to help you ensure you have covered at the end of this document.
Use the following as guidance to write each section of you research proposal:
Introduction
This section should introduce your research area in a similar way to a report.
Introduce and provide good definitions of the key terms e.g. your chosen behaviour/topic and: or other relevant concepts.
Include a Venetian overview of the issues, concepts and research studies relevant to the topic, placing the research in context.
Should tell a story that discusses previous research in the field and leads logically to the proposed aims of your current proposed study.
The hypotheses should be clearly stated at the end of the introduction and should logically be derived from the content of your introduction.
Introduction checklist:
State the purpose of the study.
Demonstrate your knowledge of the research problem.
Demonstrate your understanding of the theoretical and research issues related to your research question.
Show an ability to critically evaluate relevant literature information.
Sim to integrate and synthesise the existing literature.
Set the context for your research question in such a way to show its necessity and importance.
State your hypothesis/ predictions.
Methods
The information provided about your proposed methods should be detailed enough to allow for east replication. Remember to mention proposed plans to ensure ethical guidelines are adhered too.
Design – what is the design for your study?
Participants-
Who will they be?
How will they be chosen/obtained?
What will the age of the participants be?
Any other relevant information e. g. inclusion/exclusion criteria.
Materials- Describe any stimuli and questionnaires, with attention to number of items, scoring criteria, possible range of scores, meaning of high and low scores, reliability and validity. Provide evidence to support the use of your materials (e.g. have other studies recommended them)
Procedure- Explain, in sequence, exactly what the researcher will do and what each participant will experience.
Ethics- proposed plans to ensure ethical guidelines.
Methods checklist:
Design: type of study, type of design.
Participants: estimation of number of participants, type of participants, recruitment method.
Instruments/ tools: descriiption of tools/ materials. Issues of reliability and Validity.
Procedure: Plans for carrying out your study/ activities involved/ estimation of time.
Ethics: adherence to ethical standards.
Evaluate the suggested methodology.
Proposed analysis
This section should provide details of the analyses that you propose to perform on your data.
Provide information on what kind of data you will be collecting.
Explain what statistical procedures will be used in order to test your hypothesis (this will need to be quantitative and will require you to revisit your research methods training to identify which type of analysis will be required)
Justify your choice of analyses.
Proposed analysis checklist
Provide information on what kind of data you will be collecting and how it would be done.
Explain what statistical procedures will be used in order to test your hypotheses
Justify your choices.
Ethical issues.
Evaluation
Similar to a discussion/conclusion in a research report, this section should provide details of the outcome of the analyses that would be expected, if your results were found to be consistent with your hypotheses.
Evaluate/appraise how these results would fit with/inform existing research in the field.
Consider implications of your research study, alongside any limitations (methodological or interpretative of the outcomes of your research).
Are there any recommendations that could be made either for future research or more genetically for health psychology based on your research?
Evaluation checklist
Provide details of the outcome of the analyses that would be expected if your results were found to be consistent with your hypotheses.
Evaluate/appraise how these results would fit with/inform existing research in the field.
Considered implications of your research study, alongside any limitations (methodological or interpretative).
Are there any recommendations that could be made either for future research or health psychology based on your research?

APA should be with DOi in the references
uk based official academic website if needed
Shivanya Magar
Otherwise only Google scholar
You need to use 20 references and make a 20 intext citations too
The references n in text citation should be in APA all the definitions included in research proposal should be from academic journals from Google scholar or from Uk based official website not from USA or any other country.
Start through explaining stress generally with its definition from academic journals and than describe academic stress for an international students through including how can they cope with it through the strategies. And also mention how does this academic stress impact international student mental health including physical health mainly focus mental health but have to mention how it also have impact in mental physical health. The research methodology should be Qualitative by conducting interviews. Please read the documents of the pictures n documents that has explain what to mentioned in the method section including number of participants how the research has been conducted. Please don’t include USA websites use uk official website if you need to otherwise just academic journal.
