Choose a 2022 or 2023 business or accounting ethics issue from a reputable source (ex: WSJ, NYT, Forbes, CNN, etc.). Please do not choose the same topic used for the SEC Enforcement Group Presentation. Students should summarize the ethical issue, the stakeholders, and the different ethical choices that could have been made in this situation. Students should incorporate a minimum of 2 to 3 ethical concepts learned in this course in the analysis of the ethical issues identified. It is my expectation that this paper will be completed using your own words. I am asking for your interpretation of the ethical issues, stakeholders, and alternative choices for your selected topic. Students who use artificial intelligence to write this paper will be subject to the suggested sanctions detailed below in the Scholastic Honesty section of the syllabus. The paper must be submitted using the Turnitin Assignment Tool in eLearning. Note: No late assignment submissions will be accepted.
The Ethical Issue Paper should be formatted:
3 pages to 6 pages in length (3 pages minimum length)
Double-spaced
Normal margins and font
APA-style citations (no abstract is required)
