Classroom and Bulletin Board Design
If you are a visual learner, you are going to really enjoy this assignment!
For the first part of this assignment, you will have the opportunity to design your dream classroom.
To design your classroom layout, you may use an online toolhttps://www.kaplanco.com/resources/floorPlanner.asp
or your computer (Word, Publisher, or other application that allows you to create designs). You may also hand-draw your classroom design if you wish. Regardless of the method, be sure that it is readable and your best work, prior to completing the first part of the assignment.
The classroom layout should be realistic and should include common items found in a classroom (i.e. teacher desk, student desks, Smartboard, etc.). Please also indicate the grade level for your classroom (the grade level should be the same for this part of the assignment, as well as part two of the assignment).
For the second part of this assignment, you will be designing a bulletin board in your classroom.
You can either complete the design on your computer (providing it is your own collection of images and not a cropped image of someone else’s bulletin board) or you may hand-draw the bulletin board and upload the image.
Those completing both parts of the assignment using the same computer program, please submit both parts as one file. If you use different programs for part 1 and part 2 of this assignment, please submit both files in order to receive full credit.

Grade Level: 3 pts
Proficient
The grade level is indicated in the assignment, and the layout and bulletin board are appropriate for the layout.
Classroom Layout: Advanced
The classroom layout is submitted and includes a realistic layout of a typical classroom (teacher desk, student desks, etc.). The classroom layout is detailed.
Bulletin Board: The bulletin board is submitted and is the student’s original work, creative, age-appropriate, detailed.
