1. Must have a running head in the top left hand corner. It should be in all caps and say RUNNING HEAD: followed by the first three words of your title.
2. In the middle of your page, centered, the first line should be your full title, the second line should be your name, and the third line is the name of the college. No other information.
In Paper Citations
1. You must have a citation for each and every source that appears in your bibliography.
2. If you are citing a website, the publication year will always be the current year. If the website has an author, use their last name in the citation, like this, (Thomas, 2015), if no author is mentioned, use the name of the website, like this, (Wikipedia.org, 2015). Remember, if the author is listed ALWAYS use them.
3. No first names, ever.
4. If you are citing a book or magazine, you must include the page number from which you got that information. (Thomas, 1999, p. 188 – 189). So that’s (Last Name, Publication Year, p. page numbers).
Bibliography
1. Must be in alphabetical order.
2. Must use a hanging indent. If you are using Microsoft Word, just click, format, paragraph, hanging indent, and it will do this for you automatically.
3. The body of the paper is double spaced, but the bibliography is single spaced with a double space between each entry.

Last Name, First Initial. (Publication Year). Title of Book in Italics, Publisher.
5. This is how you do a bibliography entry for a book with multiple authors:
Last Name, First Initial., Last Name, First Initial., & Last Name, First Initial. (Publication Year). Title of Book in Italics, Publisher.
6. This is how you do a bibliography entry for a website or online article with an author:
Last Name, First Initial. (Publication Year/Current Year). Name of Website. Retrieved from (Then list the exact day you accessed the information. Complete address of the web page where the article is located.

Remember
You will be required to write a three full page paper, with at least five unique sources. The paper must meet APA guidelines; include a cover page and a bibliography which are NOT part of the three full pages of content. There is a format example of what it should look like in the “Modules” section. Your writing assignments must be in Microsoft Word format, Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, demonstrate proper grammar and sentence structure, include a title page, bibliography and in paper citations. Requirements:
Font: Times New Roman 10 or 12
Double space the body of your paper.
Single space your bibliography with a double space between each entry.
Length: Three FULL pages of content, not counting the title page or the bibliography.
