Effective written and oral communications are critically important in the business world. Format: Each written assignment should comply with the guidelines specified for the assignment. The use of charts, exhibits, or references is encouraged to the extent that they help you make your points. These tools, and any cover pages, reference lists, appendices, etc. will not be included in page counts. The document should be in 12 point Times New Roman, double spaced, left justified, with a one inch margin all around. Appropriate titles and section headers should be used. Hard copy submissions should have a cover sheet and be stapled in the upper left corner. For electronic submissions, the paper must be in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or Adobe pdf format.
