Remember – this assesses your content using the Can-Do-Descriptor and the language your ELL will use.

Write two strategies of how you will present content (I DO).
Referring to the SDAIE resource, UDL, or G.L.A.D resource, list 2 strategies for helping your ELL learn the content. Use specific examples of how you would implement each – just don’t paraphrase the description of the strategy. Focus on the strategies you will use during the teaching of the lesson (excluding those which mention slow down your speech, etc.). This is not about what the students will do but rather what you will do to help your ELL understand the content. Tell me what you will say and do to implement each strategy. Remember if you are using pictures, I need to see the pictures. If you are using a graphic organizer, I need to know which type and what information will be placed in it. Provide information specific to this lesson you are teaching.
