This course is designed to introduce and define the many duties and responsibilities of the Radiographer in the clinical setting. It will also present the hospital environment, patient care activities, hospital teams, critical thinking skills, and communication skills needed to become an efficient Radiographer.
The two years of study in the radiography program will challenge you as a student. This assignment is as much for you as it is for us. Understanding your choices, clarifying your expectations, and forming a plan of action are all significant contributing factors to successfully achieving a goal. The act of putting your thoughts in writing helps you to focus on that goal and to create a sense of perspective about the course you hope to undertake.
You will be given a list of questions to answer that were created to make you assess if Radiography is the correct career choice for you. Be honest with yourself, don’t write what you think is “politically correct.”
This assignment must be presented as a formal paper. Format:
Typewritten – Arial font, 12 pt., double-spaced
Grammatically correct – spelling counts
At least 2 pages in length
Provide APA citations for any work that is not yours.
