In this first part of the project, you will make your three genre compositions/creations. Each should revolve around the same issue and try to convince the audiences of the same things. These artifacts can be in different mediums as well as genres (for instance: photograph, video, newspaper article), or they can simply be in different genres but not mediums (for instance: poem, newspaper article, email). You need at least two different target audiences. You CAN create visual artifacts, but you need at least one textual artifact with at least 500 words.
these are done but need to be edited better to target 2 specific audiences. 2 of the creations the news paper/email/ chart diagram need to be the same audience and one will have a different one.
currently the 3 creations do not really have a target audience and need to be edited to do so.
for the 1st one the email: What audience are you trying to reach here? Think about how you might taylor this information to a specific person or group.
for chart/visual artifact notes for it:This isn’t really trying to convince the audience of anything, and there are some rhetorical devices being used, but you might want to altar this so it will be easier to talk about in your paper. Again, think about who you are specifically targeting as an audience member and this time also think about what you are trying to convince them of.
newspaper: needs a better introduction to the topic the audience here needs to be for the general public. so the information in it is definitely seems to jargony/hyper-specific to be in a newspaper article. I think, overall, the piece is having trouble conforming to the genre conventions. Either, you will want to change the piece to more suite a newspaper format, or you’ll want to rethink where this kind of information (what platform) might be housed. so from this note it needs to be more like a news paper.
then when that has been fixed, then begin with our rhetorical rationale of the genre pieces we created in part one. Minimum (500 words for the rhetorical rationale this draft).
