A Hero’s Journey Evaluation and Analysis Essay
Prompt: After reading about and having watched the movie Jason and the Argonauts evaluate and analyze how the items under the 3 categories (Departure, Initiation, Return) pertain to the hero. Not all of the items under each category will apply to the hero. Pick the items that do apply and use examples from the story (both book and movie) to write up your analysis.
Structure:
Limit your analysis to 3-4 double-spaced pages using 12 font New Times Roman. Follow this video Links to an external site.to format properly.
Clearly, label your work with your name, course, and title of the assignment.
Have a well-developed Introduction (6-8 sentences).
There should be a clear thesis statement at the end of your introduction.
Each body paragraph should have a clearly developed topic sentence that talks about the specific area of the hero’s journey.
Provide examples from your readings and/or movie in the form of quotes, cite them appropriately. Use the proper quote integration format (ICE-Introduce, Cite, Explain).
The last page must have your works cited.
