Students will work through the steps of the writing process to develop a problem-solution essay.
Students will use graphic organizer in order to follow appropriate problem-solution structure.

Students will apply the appropriate rules of format, grammar, usage, and mechanics to their final submitted problem-solution essay.
Writing Prompt
Select a problem in the world today at any level (personal, local, state, global) and investigate realistic solutions to the problem. Analyze the solution(s) for cost, feasibility, and enforcement as part of your research. Structure your essay based on one of the various graphic organizers provided in the lesson.
Your written assessment should include
a title page,
a minimum two page, typed (12 pt. Times New Roman font) and double spaced problem-solution essay that includes APA citations, and
an annotated bibliography page with three reliable sources (see Module 4 for instructions).
