In your local area please interview the local Red Cross or Salvation Army emergency response coordinator (you can use Zoom or a similar virtual means). If there are similar organizations in your community, you may use them. Discuss duties, responsibilities, how they are set up regarding the organization of volunteers, behavioral health interventions, when and how they provide services, compassion fatigue services for their first responders, debriefing, aspects of the job, etc., and what you have learned and reacted from this experience.
