I need a federal or state agency profile paper:
Please choose a state or federal administrative agency you would like to profile in a written paper. The following elements must be included in the paper:
• ● Identification of the agency, whether it is a state or federal agency, and the person who is the head of the agency. If the agency is run by a board of commissioners (or similarly named group), identification of those individuals.
• ● Locate and review the agency’s enabling statute. Paper should include a citation of the enabling statute, and a list of at least three of the agency’s main purposes as stated in the statute. If you need help locating the statute, please ask! I am happy to assist.
• ● Include the agency’s annual operating budget. Can be from 2018 or other recent year.
• ● Find a recent news article in which the agency is discussed. Can be regarding a recent action taken by an agency, or some contemplated action that has been announced. Please cite the article (source, author’s name, and publication date). Include your reaction to the news article. Was it fair? Biased? Was the agency action warranted? What, if anything, do you think the agency should have done differently?
