The purpose of this assignment is to learn about local resources for transition planning and present this information in a clear and family-friendly manner (i.e., avoid technical terms or jargons). Transition planning is typically related to getting ready for postsecondary education, career and employment, independent living, or community participation. You will identify two local resources that families in Nevada can use to help their children plan for their transition into adulthood. You will then create a 1-page handout that introduces these two resources. Your handout must include visuals, readable text, and a web link to each resource. (focus on AUTISC individuals)
