Scenario:You are working as a medical administrative assistant in a specialty clinic. Your office team has decided to place a focus on patient education over the next month. The team’s goal is to help patients better understand their medical conditions, records, and treatment plans. Your role in this effort is to create a handout for patients that defines common medical terms used in your clinic.Instructions:First, choose a specialty that you’d like to focus on.
