Please read Case Study 7.2, “Power, Wealth, and Sexual Predator.” Here is the scenario:
You are the Executive Director of a non-profit for young women and have been the recipient of grant money from Jeffery Epstein’s Foundation for many years. You submitted your annual request for funding a couple of months before the sexual scandal about Epstein became public. Your board, staff, and other funders want to know your stance on this recent incident. In 5 pages, address the following prompts:
-Write an introduction about the Epstein scandal and what various sources had to say about the incident
-Provide background on your non-profit (this can be a factitious or existing organization serving young women; it is your choice) and its ethical values
-Provide an ethical response that examines the Epstein scandal for your board, staff, and current funders (use the theories and concepts presented in the reading and other sources)
-Share the pros and cons of accepting money from Epstein’s Foundation this fiscal year
Include at least 2 in-text citations in each paragraph with a total of 7-10 sources used for the paper (this includes newspaper articles, online articles, books, academic journals, assigned reading, transcripts from videos, or quotes from videos. Do not use Wikipedia and other questionable sources).
