Effective self-management plans require planning and acknowledging the potential

Effective self-management plans require planning and acknowledging the potential pitfalls. Many self-management plans follow the same basic format of identification of a specific goal and the contingencies to implement it throughout the self-monitoring phases.
For this Assignment, you will consider the suggestions found in the course textbook (i.e., Cooper et al.) to develop a self-management plan for a personal behavior you want to change. The practice of developing and implementing a personal self-management plan will be helpful as you guide clients to create their own self-management plans.
Select a personal behavior you would like to increase or decrease.
Review the Summary section of the Cooper text (pp. 711–712), specifically “Suggestions for Effective Self-Management Program,” and consider using this suggestion to help you create your self-management plan for this Assignment.
Assignment (1–2 pages):
Create a self-management plan for increasing or decreasing the personal behavior you selected.
